This week Agent 10 wraps up his mission to find and interrogate the Arganese Line-up with the CL3. Will this last cigar prove to be the big bad boss-man it cracks itself up to be? Lets find out...

Cigar Transmission #030

ARGANESE TARGET 6 of 6

My Name is Agent 10, and my mission was to hunt down, capture and interrogate the Arganese CL3 Robusto, by Arganese Cigars. As an asset of The Cigar Spy agency I promise to respect the A.S.H.E.S. code of honor. These are the facts; This is my debriefing.

Target: Arganese CL3 Robusto

Size: Robusto (5 x 50)

Wrapper: Corojo Ligero
Binder: Dominican Ligero
Filler: Dominican Ligero

Box of 20 for $91.99 at TexCigars.com!

Background Info:

The Arganese CL3 robusto is a power house. Made entirely of Dominican ligero tobacco this cigar is the strongest blend in Arganese’s arsenal. Cream, sweetness, wood, salty spice, nuts, and coffee are the flavors presented by this cigar. The Arganese CL3 Robusto is 5″ by 50. The corojo ligero wrapper is very oily and has veins. The ligero tobacco in the Arganese CL3 Robusto makes it a longer smoke than most cigars. Remember, this is a strong cigar so make sure you have eaten first. Those that attended the 2008 IPCPR in Las Vegas may have smoked this cigar, it is truly an excellent value. – Tex Cigars

Mission Notes:

Appearance: This cigar has a nice cap that melds well with the rest of the cigar. No noticable flaws can be seen, and the wrapper leave itself is nice and smooth. I clipped the cap with ease and got a pre-light flavor of tobacco and slight nuts.

After lighting, I noticed a hit of “heat”, that is almost like a spicy salsa that hit my mouth. This bad boy was definitely going to be full bodied. As I continued on a nice nutty, almond flavor came forward. as I approached the inch-mark, some nice coffee notes came in. Another nutty note I couldn’t recognize also joined into the mix. At about the halfway point the heat mentioned before began to escalate. As I approached the last third my throat began bothering me. Now, a slight nutty flavro was noticed by the heat was slightly overwhelming. I decided to end my suffering and put her down.

Final Statement:

This cigar is not for the faint of heart, or constitution! The cigar started out real nice with a pleasant heat and almond and coffee flavors. As it progressed the heat was amped up, and became unbearable in the last third. For those of you who like cigars that kick your ass, by all means this is the cigar for you!

For the rest of us out there, we might be better of leaving the sleeping dragon where it lies.

Thanks for tuning in everyone! Until next time…
