Target: 2 of 6 in a series
Again, I need to say a big thank you to Amanda from the Los Blancos Cigar Company over on Facebook for capturing and transporting these targets to my location somewhere in West Virginia. They are safe and being held on lockdown in a humid, cedar enclosure.
The second character to be interrogated is the Primos Habana Criollo Rosado.
Name: Los Blancos Primos Habana Criollo Rosado
Size: 5″ x 52 (Robusto)
Wrapper: Nicaragua
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua, Peru, Honduras
Body/Strength: Between a rock and a feather (Med.)
This target is less “rustic” by appearance than the Maduro wrapped Primos. It’s like me standing beside a hobo. There are several larger veins that run the length of the cigar. No trouble spots. A nice oily sheen on this earthy brown wrapper. Now to get it to speak!
The target is open and honest with me. Nice draw, good burn, decent ash, and no relights.
As far as flavors, there are plenty of earthy flavors. Nutty sometimes, semi-sweet sometimes, mostly a consistent mouthful of wood though…(insert joke here).
For a “bundled” cigar, this thing has great flavors and great construction. I believe I enjoyed it better than the Maduro wrapped Primos. I am a Criollo wrapper fan. Also, s’mores.
Between the two Primos lines, I think I’d have to interrogate this one more often. The Maduro flavors on the other just weren’t strong enough for me. The flavors work better in this blend, in my humble Spy opinion. High five Los Blancos! Wait, lower, I can’t jump that high.
Total Points: 88
Agent Tip #16: When making s’mores over a campfire, make sure your fly is zipped as to not intake hot embers into the vital region of your Spyness.

Spy Links Reviewing This Target:

Nice one Mike… I definitely agree that the natural is the better of the 2 Primos
VERY well-written review, good sir! Lots to laugh at, and I agree w/ your assessment of this stick. For the money, I’m not sure they come much better.
Nice review….
