I’m not sure if you know this or not, but along with being a cigar spy, I’m also impermeable to cold weather (I’m equal parts titanium/awesome). As true as that is, I am forced to think this isn’t cold weather. It’s actually an attempt by the Anti-Smoking Sirs and Elves Society (A.S.S.E.S.) to impinge on our freedoms once again. Oh, and my spy nunchucks froze off during this mission, leading me to believe that I need my awesome fluid checked.
Name: CAO MX2
Size: 6″ x 60 (Gordo)
Wrapper: Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro
Binder: Brazil (Maduro)
Filler: Dom. Rep., Honduras, Nicaragua, Peru
Body/Strength: Grandma packin’ (Med-Full)
This target is dark, oily, and veiny. It looks formidable to cut and light on fire, but I won’t let that stop me! The cap is a bit tattered but that shouldn’t cause many problems. No blemishes, good construction. Time for the interrogation…
The target is open and willing to speak. Great draw for a Maduro. Nice razor-thin burn line. Ash is a bright grey, holds on for about 1.5″. No rogue tobacco flakes on the tongue after cutting. [Spy Note: Rogue tobacco flakes on the tongue causes Agent 6 to lob incendiary devices. ]
Now the target is really talking…lots of dark chocolate/sweet Maduro flavors, mixed with hints of pepper. Chocolaty peppery cream… yeah. Good balance between dirt (earthy) flavors and typical Maduro characteristics. Also, this Brazilian binder adds some unique flavors. I wouldn’t call it complex, “unique” perhaps.
Though this cigar is good, it didn’t seem to hold my attention. Perhaps it was the cold environment, or perhaps my palate. If you like Maduro wrappers and are looking for a new twist (Brazilian binder), acquire. Otherwise, call HQ for a new mission.
Total Points: 88
Agent Tip #13: When using spy nunchucks, DO NOT become distracted. This can cause irreperable damage.

Nice review. It’s been a long time since I’ve fired one of these up. I think I have one in the humidor I can dig up.
Sounds like an interesting Maduro Agent 6. I’ll have to check that one out the next time I am hunting for new targets.
Nice smoke. Used to be one of my favorite till the LX2 came into picture. Oh… good review too. hahahaha
“Chocolaty peppery cream…………………”
I had one of these once and wish mine was an 88. I remember looking down at it and just thinking gimmick gimmick gimmick. Maybe someday CAO will spend less time with the bands and presentation and more time putting out a few quality lines and not 9-12 mediocre ones.
I liked this smoke. Too bad I cant find them at my B&M anymore
