La Riqueza

La Riqueza

Strength: Medium to Full
Wrapper: Connecticut Broadleaf
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua
Style: No. 5

From the triple cap to the look of the box, Pete Johnson has really stepped his game up and maybe wants to play with our minds a little. La Riqueza has lots of features that you can find in cigars from the ISOM. It’s definitely a different look and a different marketing from his famous Tatuaje lines.

With flavors of Nuts, Roasted Wood, hints of Floral mixed with a medium Spicy undertone the cigar starts off great and ends just as good. A very consistent cigar with an excellent burn and draw, easy on the palate and still manages to remain medium to full bodied.

In my personal opinion this is a great cigar and I will put La Riqueza above the Brown and Red Tatuajes, but underneath the Cabaiguans. I recommend it to all you spicy full bodied smokers.

Final Grade: B+
